Group Blog

Welcome back! in this blog I will be talking about me and my group mates. The people I will be working with are Nicholas and Joao. The reason why I decided to work with them for this project is because I trust them. I have known the Nicholas and Joao since my freshman year and I have been friends with them since. I know how they are with their school work and I know they will actually put time and effort into this project. We all worked together last year for our other project. We all enjoyed working together and we took it seriously. Everyone helped out and did their part. We never fought or had an issues when it came to getting our work done. We had so much fun doing it. I love this group that we formed through school projects. Because even if we became better friends just because of a project, I am really glad I chose them for my group. I remember our video took time. But we all did a really good job and worked together. We are really good at helping each other out. We are all ...

Hello! I am back and more exited than ever to be in A Level this year. As you might already know, my name is Constanza Cirigliano. My nickname and what all my friends call me is Connie. I am 18 years old. I was born on December 6th, 2006. I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I moved to the United States when I was 10 years old. I have lived in three different houses since I moved here; 2 in the city of Davie and 1 in Plantation. I currently live in Plantation, Florida and attend Fort Lauderdale High School. I only live with my mom. I have an older sister and she used to live with us but she moved to college more than a year ago. I am in the 12th grade, which is my last year of high school. I have been the president of a club named Flying L Friends since the end of my freshman year, and just became the Vice President of the EMS club. I usually spend my free time hanging out with my friends or doing school work. I have a lot of different personalities depending on who I am a...

Production Blog: Finishing Touches

Hey bloggers and welcome back to my blog. The sequence is looking greater than it has ever looked. We are very happy with how it is looking. All I have to do is upload the video on Vimeo and embed it into our next blog. This was a bit harder than I thought. My computer like last time was not working the best and I had to ask many people for help. It took up about like 15 minutes of my time. After the video was finally uploaded, I ran into the previous issues I had with my other forms of media I had submitted before. The sequence came out in 480p and made the sequence look horrible and as if it were filmed on an old camera. I had to fix the quality of video before publishing. This made the publishing of the video taking far longer. After uploading the video I sent the video to my friends for any last second checks before uploading it onto blogger. I made sure it looked good on their end as well, to my demise it didn't look very good on their end. The video was cropped on both sides...

Production Blog: Minor Tweaks

Image
Hey bloggers and welcome back to our own opening sequence. There's been a few things I want to update you guys on. Together as a group we came together and decided to change some of our film. We wanted to come up with names that seemed professional. The production company name was a very fast decision and it only took us about 5 minutes. The name we came up with is called Wildlife Productions. This made sense to us as we filmed our film mostly outdoors and during these outdoors scenes a majority of them were filmed around natural environments. The next name we had to come up with was the studio name. This name took longer than it was supposed to. We came up with a studio company name JENC studios. This made sense to us as it was the first letter of all our initials in the order we believed would sound the best. We did not want the titles to take away the attention of the actual film. So keeping a simple title was the best way at sounding both professional and not distracting the au...

Production Blog: A Few Things I Forgot to Mention

Welcome back bloggers! Today's blog is going to be different from my other blogs.  The previous blogs have focused on refining and enhancing my opening sequence. This blog, focuses more on the things I neglected to write about during the previous three months, such as how our group collaborated and where we purchased the props for our set. First, let's talk about how we assembled the objects required to create the finest potential sceneries for our situations. To prevent one of us from getting really hot, we initially picked up a gorilla suit from Party City and made sure it was breathable. We had to improvise by forming an animal shape out of rags. We couldn't use an actual dead animal. We had also prepared our own artificial blood with inexpensive components that we had on hand. I decided to scrap the blood since it was too gooey, colorful, and cartoony. For the most polished and realistic impact on the opening segment, we simply went and brought a whole gallon of dark fa...
