Production Blog: First day Filming

  Hello bloggers! I hope everything is going well. I am back to share some news on the short film. Today me and my group decided that we would start filming. We hopped on a facetime call and we started sharing ideas on how we would start. Nick said that we should go to his house to film but we ended up scratching that plan off. After maybe 40 minutes of thinking about our decision we finally came to a choice. We would go to film at my house as it is generally close to a lot of places that would be useful for the filmmaking. So i got some ideas ready while i waited for them. We start by choosing which scene we would do first and we decided to do a scene where the friend group is waiting to be picked up. Then after that we would go to film everyone running to the car. This took more than one try since we all stumbled on each other twice but no one got badly hurt so it was okay lol. We then had to film everybody getting in the car as if we were about to go out. So we filmed Joao and nick jumping into the back of the truck which was pretty cool. However it took some tries to get the timing down from the both of them. Then we filmed one of our actors cleaning a car and getting paid for it since it was one of our scenes. After that we ended up filming  a few extra scenes with the group. These would serve as backup in case we wanted to change anything. But  that will be it for today. See ya later bloggers!

Welcome back bloggers! Today's blog is going to be different from my other blogs.  The previous blogs have focused on refining and enhancing my opening sequence. This blog, focuses more on the things I neglected to write about during the previous three months, such as how our group collaborated and where we purchased the props for our set. First, let's talk about how we assembled the objects required to create the finest potential sceneries for our situations. To prevent one of us from getting really hot, we initially picked up a gorilla suit from Party City and made sure it was breathable. We had to improvise by forming an animal shape out of rags. We couldn't use an actual dead animal. We had also prepared our own artificial blood with inexpensive components that we had on hand. Planning: Location, Participants, Health, and Schedule

  The   participants   in our film will be: Enzo Prieto Joao Nunes Constanza Cirigliano Nick Zilberstajen Location:  Some of us live at great distances from each other making it slightly challenging to find a point to collectively meet and film. But we decided to use a local state park Oleta state park.  For the scenes in the car we decided to use some of our school friends' cars and to use roads near patches of woods to add the immersion in the opening sequence. The scenes in the driveway could take place either at Joao's or Constanza's residence. Schedule: By 2/20 we will film our scenes in the driveway which should take no more than one day. By 2/27 we will film our on the road scenes which should also take no more than one day.
