Planning: Storyboard





This is the storyboard for our opening sequence. Nothing is quite set in stone yet, but this is the foundation I will work off of to plan out and strategize the production of our opening sequence.

 Welcome back! in this blog I will be talking about me and my group mates. The people I will be working with are Nicholas and Joao. The reason why I decided to work with them for this project is because I trust them. I have known the Nicholas and Joao since my freshman year and I have been friends with them since. I know how they are with their school work and I know they will actually put time and effort into this project. We all worked together last year for our other project. We all enjoyed working together and we took it seriously. Everyone helped out and did their part. We never fought or had an issues when it came to getting our work done. We had so much fun doing it. Production Blog: Post card

Hello bloggers! We are back with another blog and today I have exciting news to provide to you guys. As you guys may think that this blog is about the video, well your wrong. This blog will be about a new addition to this project which is the post card. As we were assigned to make a short film, we are also assigned to make a post card and a website. So to get this started we all met up at Starbucks once again. We love going to Starbucks since it's our study spot and it also helps me focus a lot. Anyways we all sat down and decided to work on the post card. We left the website for another day since it was going to be a lot and we got to Starbucks a little late. So for the post card we had to make sure to add the publish date of the movie. Then we had to include the productions which was JNC STUDIOS. Movie Research: The Boogeyman

   For the past week the group has been researching various thriller movies, the movie we're researching at the moment is the Boogeyman. The boogeyman was a very traditional and recent thriller movie using various conventions to thoroughly spook audiences and keep them drawn in. The boogey man utilizes loads of close-up shots on the actors faces to emphasize their acting and draws out fear and suspense in the audience. The boogeyman also uses phenomenal music which had me hiding under the covers. The music was sharp and intense, but also immensely ominous. Lastly the boogeyman used various costumes and props to immerse the audience. The conventions of this movie that I enjoyed was the intricate use of music, settings and camera angles. The music in this movie captivated the essence of horror and left me terrified while I was watching and made the movie tremendously interesting to watch.
