Hello, welcome back! In this Blog I will be explaining what I did and what my thoughts were when deciding on which app to use. Like I mentioned in my last Blog, I will be using iMovie to edit my commercial. In the beginning, I was going to use CapCut to put my commercial together. I was convinced that, that's what I was going to use. I would hear so many people talking about it and how good of an app it is to edit videos. Because of this, I thought it would be a good idea to use it for my commercial. Also, something I did to help me figure out what app I wanted to use was ask people. I asked family and friends that had edited videos in the past to see if they could give me advice. CapCut was mostly everyones #1 answer. I also did some research on the most efficient editing apps. I searched up which apps were easy to use and gave good results. After doing my research and talking to people, I decided on iMovie. At first I thought about using CapCut to put my commercial together since that was everyones number one recommendation. Then I realized that it would be so much easier for me to use iMovie since I have used it in the past for other projects. It would make it so much easier on me to use an app that I am already familiar with other than having to learn and get used to a completely different one. The times I have edited on iMovie I never had an issue. It was always super easy to use. Also, you can ask how to do something in specific that you do not know how to do and it explains it to you so well. It is easy to add on a background song and I thought that would be useful since I will be doing that for my commercial. That is how I came into conclusion of which app I was going to use. Thank you!
